Our fire monitoring goes beyond simple smoke detection. We monitor for complex environmental changes and system integrity to ensure 100% uptime.

  • Professional Dispatch: Upon receipt of a fire signal, our operators follow strict NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) protocols to verify the alarm and dispatch the Fire Department within seconds.
  • System Integrity Monitoring: We monitor the “health” of the fire panel itself. If a wire is cut, a battery fails, or a sensor is tampered with, a “Trouble” or “Supervisory” signal is sent to our station immediately.
  • Integrated Life Safety: In the event of a fire, our systems can be programmed to automatically trigger secondary life-safety actions, such as shutting down HVAC fans to prevent smoke spread or unlocking electromagnetic doors for safe egress.

This includes monitoring fire sprinkler systems for “Waterflow”—detecting if a sprinkler head has activated—and “Tamper” switches to ensure valves are not accidentally closed.

Fire codes often require higher levels of communication reliability than standard security. 4th Systems utilizes Sole Path Cellular or Dual-Path (IP + Cellular) communicators.
